All the world’s a stage

I recently had the joy to photograph this brilliant young man in my studio. He came with lots of creative ideas and took an active part in staging ‘his pictures’. He had such a wide range of expressions that it was a feast for me as a photographer! I am sure he will make a great […]

Sibling studio session Maida Vale

Just before half term break I had a short but sweet studio session with two adorable siblings. See for yourself what gorgeous models they were! Their mum brought so many different outfits and the little girl wanted to show them all.

Silhouette Mini Sessions

This is the season for mini sessions. And I am excited to offer something very special for the first time this year: silhouette mini sessions! The images that we create together will be very different from your usual portraits and a lot of fun! You could use them for all kinds of occasions and why […]

Studio child portraits – Maida Vale

I am seriously in love with studio photography! It is very different to my other love – unposed captures in natural light – but that’s the beauty of photography: you can have so many different approaches! A day in Hamburg Harbour

Sometimes I am worried that my children are not in touch with their roots. So once in while we take them on a ‘cultural trip’ to Germany. When my kids’ school was closed the other day because of broken water mains, we wanted to do something that is usually difficult because it is too crowded. The weather was not brilliant, but dry and my kids really, really wanted to go to the zoo. I have to admit that in spite of having […]

Sibling love

A while ago I had the pleasure to photograph two extraordinary siblings in Primrose Hill. The light was not fantastic, but their cheerfulness and cooperation certainly were! Time passed really quickly and we had so much fun on the hill and on the playground.

Pipa Boutique

Recently, I was fortunate enough to be asked to take some photos of one of my favourite shops, the independent lifestyle boutique Pipa on Formosa Street, Little Venice, for a feature in the Smallish magazine! And they deserve the feature, because the shop is just gorgeous! In 2010 Pipa was voted by Vogue Magazine as one of […]

The Floating Classroom

A little while ago my kids were invited for a test run of a science show run by the Floating Classroom on the Electric Barge in Little Venice. The actual show is going to be this Sunday, 19th March. Come along, it promises to be great fun! It’s always great to have an opportunity to […]
