Outdoor family photography
Our children grow up so quickly and our family dynamics change constantly. This is particularly true during these extreme times. The past few weeks have changed and shaped our families. After all we were together in a confined space without any break from each other. On the one hand this is often stressful and leads to quarrels and plenty of sibling fights. But on the other hand this made us value our family even more. It strengthened our bonds. More than at any other time this makes it invaluable to have your today documented for later years. While I do not think it safe to offer studio sessions any time soon, I will certainly at some point restart my sessions by offering outdoor family photography in Maida Vale. This can take place in any local park or outdoor space where we can safely keep a distance from each other. If you have a certain place in mind, that’s great. Otherwise I know plenty of beautiful places where we can schedule our session.
What about Covid-19?
I assure you that your family’s health and safety is most important to me and I will adhere strictly to the MPA’s Covid-19 protocol, following all current HM Government advice. We will keep our distance from each other and I am happy to wear a mask during the photo session. At the moment I do not offer these sessions yet, as I think it is not yet safe to do so, but I am happy to book you in for a later date. Should circumstances or guidelines change, should anyone feel unwell before the session, I will rebook your session at no extra cost.
Your family is unique and I like to show this in your images. The shoot is relaxed and I gently pose your family to show everyone in their best light, while encouraging you to interact and be yourselves. The result is a mixture of more formal posed images and candid, interactive ones. As a mother of three very lively children and a previous paediatrician, not much can faze me when it comes to active children or very shy children. Every family is different and every is child different and I love to celebrate that in your images. We will create images for you and your loved ones to treasure for years and years.
At the moment I can only offer sessions for your core family. As much as I love to include grandparents, aunts, uncles and pets in your family session, I feel that the current situation does not allow this.
Finally, I will hand-edit the the best images to create a truly unique and tasteful piece of art.
How much is an Outdoor Family Photography Session and what is included?
Every family is different and every family would like to purchase different products and images from their session. Therefore I don’t offer a ‘one fits all’ approach but let you choose what images and products you would love to keep.

- the outdoor photo session, which lasts up to one hour depending on the size of your family and the age of your children
- a pre-session consultation (in person, by email or over the phone) so I know exactly what you are looking for. This allows me to tailor your session exactly to your taste and needs. Additionally, we can address any questions or worries regarding your photo session you might have
- a viewing session. Here I can help you choose the right images and products for your family to display your love and connections. I usually love to meet your family again for these sessions to be able to explain all the products and options. Currently, we will have to do the viewing session using zoom or a similar app.
- hand-editing in my style to the highest standard of your selected images
